TZLPGA has managed to conduct LPG Distributors training seminars across various regions of Tanzania in collaboration with the Tanzania Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA), Weights and Measures Agency (WMA), and the Fire and Rescue Force (FRF).
Given that LPG is a hazardous product, these training seminars are designed to equip industry stakeholders with critical knowledge on the regulatory framework, safety and fire prevention practices, compliance requirements, customer service standards, and how to identify, prevent, and report market malpractices.
Through these engagements, TZLPGA also provides updates on the current status of the LPG market in Tanzania, while emphasizing the important role of LPG in advancing the national clean cooking energy transition.
The strong participation and active engagement from Distributors reflect a shared commitment among regulators and industry players to promote safe operations, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth of the LPG sector nationwide.
